Sometimes I wake up and everything is blue-envisaged

early morning light making patterns on the floor

and Vermeer smiling from the wall

in mocking stillness.

And then doves disguised as pigeons

begin cooing sadly

and slowly, like rain

at the frosted window;

and then there are no silhouettes left

to break the silence.
Theory of Lost WicksEvery glance was a religious theory in its own

from the lonely damp corner of the library

and oak shelves and oil lamps

that had no wick.

Whispers and spiders gathering dust in words

and notes left behind by letters

every sigh was a hymn we sang

to the robins nest in the wall.

And every page was a chapter

with this, you made your own bible.

A drawing of Benjamin Linus. I've been working on this for about 5 months, doing a little bit at a time. Altogether I worked on it for about 6 hours. It's actually much bigger than this, around A3 sized, but the scanner lost a lot of detail. I love Ben :) :heart:
